Ken & the Cowflops
Kill the Wabbit Artless Heralds of Cheese CKO Radio

Since 1985 I have been a recording musician. Like most, I never expected to see the inside of a recording studio, so I began to build my own. All of these recordings were made by myself using technology which slowly improved from two cassette decks mixed together, to a four-track recorder, to producing almost studio-quality recordings on my computer with MIDI and digital editing programs, all on a budget of likely less than what U2 spends on coffee.

My first band was Ken & the Cowflops, in which I played every instrument. If you like Yello, Herbie Hancock, or Kraftwerk you will perhaps like this. I have had some of this material played on a few radio stations and have performed live a few times. I've never expected to make a career of this with eight million other indie bands out there, but if someone is seriously interested in what they hear, they are welcome to contact me.

August Afternoon (1991) 4:54. Recorded in a Canadian November when I was wishing it WAS August.
Hit the Ground Running (1990) 5:50. You say 'cheap video,' I say 'minimalism.'
